BACKGROUND: The CA Steering Committee held a Group Conscious meeting via Zoom on June 6, 2020. For your information, the meeting notes are attached, (see attachment). The subject of Reopening was discussed and was voted to NOT Re-Open. Instead the Group Conscious made a directive to form this Reopening Committee with the objective of studying and recommending a plan for safe and compliant Re-Opening. The results will be presented at the planned Group Conscious Zoom Meeting on June 27, 2020.
The committee is coordinating its re-opening activities with the Clean Air Al-Anon Group representatives.
SURVEY OF FACILITY MEETING CAPACITY: The committee determined the meeting capacity based on present CDC guidelines and Dallas County requirements. Based on such current guidelines the CA Meeting Facility may hold 32 persons in a scheduled AA meeting.
PROCEDURES AND PROTOCOLS FOR IN-HOUSE MEETINGS: The Committee has prepared Mandatory Meeting Procedures and Protocols, which are attached for your information, (see attachment).
It is Important for each member to read these mandatory procedures before answering the Survey of Willingness to Return to Meetings Now.
SURVEY OF MEMBERSHIP: Time is of the essence. Therefore, we are asking for your prompt response to Three Survey Questions regarding the membership’s willingness and frequency to return to In-Facility Meetings at this time.
Please submit your Survey response to the following questions by 12:00 noon (CT) on June 26 Friday, to make sure your contribution is heard in time for the upcoming Group Conscious Meeting.
